Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and [needs: business name], which runs StarSprout. By creating an account or starting a trial, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

• You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of the children you add.
• You can add up to 6 kid profiles. Kids use StarSprout through your account and under your supervision.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate information, and keep your email address current so we can reach you.

• Price: the Family Plan costs $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year (U.S. dollars), plus any tax required where you live.
• Free trial: each family can get one 7-day free trial. You enter a card to start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan you picked.
• Automatic renewal: your plan renews every month or year and your card is charged each time, until you cancel.
• Payments: Stripe processes all payments. If a payment fails, we may pause access until it's fixed.
• Price changes: we will email you at least 30 days before a price change affects you, so you can cancel first if you want.
• Free sample lessons: without a subscription, kids can try the first lesson in each subject at their level.
• Billing questions: if you think you were charged by mistake, email [needs: contact email] and we'll look into it.

Cancel anytime from the Billing page in the grown-up area (Manage billing). Canceling stops future charges. You keep full access until the end of the trial or the period you already paid for, and then lessons lock again. Your kids' profiles and progress stay saved unless you delete them.

StarSprout is for your family's personal, non-commercial learning. Please don't:

• copy, share, or resell our lessons, quizzes, pictures, or games,
• share your account with people outside your household,
• try to get around the paywall, break our security, or disrupt the service, or
• use automated tools to collect content from the site.

All lessons, quizzes, illustrations, games, and the StarSprout name and design belong to [needs: business name]. We work hard to keep lessons accurate and age-appropriate, and we may add, update, or retire lessons over time. StarSprout supports learning at home. It does not replace school or professional advice.

You can stop using StarSprout and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. If we close your account without a good reason under these terms, we will refund the unused part of any period you paid for.

We provide StarSprout "as is." We can't promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of [needs: state], USA. If we change these terms in an important way, we will email you before the change takes effect. If you keep using StarSprout after that, the new terms apply.
